Usually that is not necessary. Often it is enough to tune the hosting environment better, for example by adding database indexes, applying caching methods or distributing load across multiple processes. If it is necessary, we will not hesitate to improve parts of the existing software.
That depends on the type of software. In most cases, we can perform an initial analysis without additional access and identify where slowness occurs. If you decide the findings should be addressed, we will need access to the existing hosting platform.
No, that is not required. There are exceptions: if system configuration changes are needed and your software is hosted in an environment where you do not have sufficient rights, we may advise moving the software to another server. That server does not have to be purchased from us.
